The Seniors extended their unbeaten run in the A League Div 1 with an impressive victory over Duleek-Bellewstown on Friday evening in Duleek. They started brightly with 1.04 on the scoreboard before the home side got their first score. With the goal coming from very nice football which ended with Squeek finishing nicely to the bottom corner. Don/Ash went in leading 1.8 to 1.4 at half time.
They started the second half like the first half with the first four scores before Duleek hit back with two frees. In the end, Don/Ash ran out winners on a score line of 1.16 to 2.06.
This win extends our lead at the top of the league and also shows strength in dept of our panel as 14 of the players that played tonight played on Tuesday night in the B League Div 1 game.
