Our U8’s are playing against Naomh Mearnog on Saturday morning at 10:00 in Portmarnock. These kids are our first dual team in the Club. They only started as a dual team back in December under the guidance of John O’Driscoll and his mentors. A very special thanks to the following young hurlers (Cathal Byrne, Sean Hogan, Colm Cox, Darragh O’Sullivan, Dylan Morrisey, Killian Hogan, Michael McGonigle),who came in to help out with these kids for the past 3 months. Many of these kids hadn’t played either sport before now and thanks to the all the coaches young and old they are ready for their first GO GAME. It is the start of our Dual Teams playing both codes and with the right guidance we’ll see all these kidfs going on to represent the club in both codes at senior level.
